Radio Song, two note chords.bar one brief section I think. Metal Heavy Lady is nothing but two note chords. It doesn't have any three note chords on a ton of it's songs. Guitar Hero 3 has three note chords on songs that require it. But I'm sure somebody as smart as you already knew that. Vicarious Visions didn't design GH:3, or work on it's charts. anything to end the monotony of some of the charts! Could the Coheed and Cambria song be any more boring to play for 90% of the chart?! Either playing over my head, behind my back, on the floor while pretending to set it on fire. Half the time I do funky shit with the guitar on RB just to make it a bit more fun.
In terms of actually having fun and enjoying a challenge? I'll stick to the GH franchise. Alot more songs that I know and love as compared with GH. I agree that the soundtrack for RB, however, is superior to GH3. I can't even beat the last third of GH3 on expert but I find virtually no challenge in RB so it gets boring. My friends will usually invite me over to play simply because they can't do lead guitar very well and I can range from 92-99% depending on the song. There is very little challenge in RB for someone who is already good at GH on expert.
If you're going to complain about the GH expert mode then don't play it. The notes for RB expert seemed pretty much exactly like GH on hard mode. I don't want to upset my roommates by forcing them to hear my "lovely" singing voice. I personally found the RB drums very boring compared to the guitar, same goes for vocals. I, personally, don't get all the rock band lovefest that occurs in all GH threads.
